Shasta Elementary School Update
Construction crews are working hard at Shasta Elementary to meet their completion date of summer 2019. This $18 million project (funded by Measure K & Developer Fees) is much needed for the growing population in the Shasta Elementary neighborhood.
Project Background
The project consists of the following:
- Addition of five new classroom buildings including a new Kindergarten complex
- Addition of administration building
- Repurposing of existing administration building into regular classroom
- Renovation of old library space into new library space
- Site work including demolition, utilities, new bus drop off, parking, playground, concrete, drainage and landscaping

i. The scope of this project included the addition of five new classroom buildings a new administrative office and an extension of the existing main parking lot.
ii. Construction Cost: $14M.
